The summer nights are longer and so are the weekend shopping hours at Village Pointe! Enjoy an extra 30 minutes to find that perfect summer dress, strappy sandals or fun accessories on Friday and Saturday now through Labor Day weekend.

Join us for warm summer evenings and hot live music at a place where friends can join you for a glass of wine or a cold beer and where the kids can have their face painted and dance down by the stage. Bring your chairs or spread a blanket each week and be entertained by the best lineup of local bands in West Omaha all summer long!

n Free concerts every Saturday night in the Alegent Health Amphitheatre from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Natural seating areas available but chairs and blankets encouraged. Leashed pets welcome.

Then after the concert, shop Village Pointe stores open extended hours (Fri. and Sat. nights throughout the summer) until 9:30 p.m.

n Weekly prizes and kids face painting or balloon art and kids' giveaways!

n Brew Patio beer garden sponsored by New Belgium Brewing Company

n Weekly Brew Patio hosts include: Kona Grill, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, Johnny's Italian Steakhouse, Cheeseburger in Paradise, and The Melting Pot.

The Village Pointe Farmers Market is now open for the season bringing to you wholesome and locally-grown produce, meats, poultry and eggs. Stop by on Saturday mornings to discover what's in season each week plus you might catch on-site demonstrations from the MCC Institute of Culinary Arts, get tips from master gardeners and learn more about various community groups and their causes.

Family-Friendly Fun
Join us for a monthly event (May through August) with an event (most events are FREE) created especially for kids that starts out with a brief presentation on helpful health tips for Moms and Dads offerd by pediatricians from Boys Town Pediatrics. Door prize chances for moms and dads and treats and giveaways for all kiddos!




Saturday, June 6 - Get Up & Dance
11 a.m. / Alegent Health Amphitheatre, center court
Join the Omaha Children's Museum who will bring out their "Get Up and Go Dance Party" while moms and dads hear some "pointers" on the importance of a a healthy diet for little ones.

Saturday, July 11 - PAWS Mobile
11 a.m. / Alegent Health Amphitheatre, center court
Special guests, the Nebraska Humane Society will offer some advice to kids on how to keep your pets safe and healthy over the summer months. Plus they'll bring out shelter pets ready for adoptions in their PAWS Mobile. A guest pediatrician will also offer advice on when to see a doctor for animal bites and animal allergies. 

Saturday, August 8 - Back-to-School Physicals
11 a.m. / Alegent Health Amphitheatre, center court
Each child will receive a teddy bear to help them as a pediatrician takes kids through what they can expect from a back-to-school physical and share with mom and dad the importance of these particular check-ups.. Other fun props to take home will include a surgical mask and cap.
